The Easter High School Mock Trial Team has finally earned some well-deserved rest after another extremely successful season. The team, lead by its Teacher-Coach Kevin Farrow and Attorney-Coaches Tim Farrow and Anne Picker, won the Camden County Championship of the Vincent J. Apruzzese Mock Trial Competition. The program is a state-wide competition run by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. After winning the County championship, Eastern advanced to the State Regional Finals, where they won their first match.
Their final trial ended in a very close loss, but the team deserves high praise for their efforts in earning a spot amongst the final six (6) teams in the State. “I have been involved in this program for 12 years now, and I continue to be amazed at the level at which these students perform. Their skills match and often exceed many adversaries I see on the other side of courtroom. I am extremely proud to work with them.” said Timothy Farrow of Moorestown’s Dash Farrow, LLP. “I am especially amazed at the efforts of Mr. Shah, who is legally blind and excelled in his role as one of the lead attorneys. The judges were repeatedly awed by his performance as was I.”
